Even Zimmerman, my friend and neighbor passed away this evening. He had throat cancer, he was only 60 years old. I will tell you more later about this interesting man. I cant type.

Sorry to hear that Fargon. I've lost several friends, all younger, in the last 6 months, but it never gets easier... even when you know it's coming. You're lucky you have your lady to lean on.

I'm very sad to hear, fargon. Sounds like he has a good friend in you, who wants to share how great he was--I look forward to reading your thoughts about him.

Evan or "marty" as knew him was a very interesting man. He had lots of stories, and jokes in him. He was the subject of an A&E documentary "The Retrial of Evan Zimmerman". He was wrongly accused of murder and sent to prison for life. He was released and all charges were dropped with prejudice. He was the founder of Club 5409, what we call out apartment building. There will be more later.
Becky and I thank you for your kind words. Terry

Life can be so incredibly unfair. It is almost as though Fate thought that his incorrect incarceration wasn't quite enough shit for one lifetime, and took him slowly and painfully to boot.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Fargon. Hold tight to everyone every day.

BTW - losing a friend is not a Nothingland topic. Our friends and families are what makes our lives worth living, and are therefore rather important.

You have my deepest sympathy. I am looking forward to hearing about him when you feel up to it.
