Coal fired trouble.

This is a long read, but I think there's a lot of truth in it.

"Not very many people are talking about what do we do to live with the consequences of what's happening," said James Brock, a longtime industry consultant in the Beijing office of Cambridge Energy Research Associates. "The polar bears are doomed -- they're going to museums. At the end of this century the Arctic ice cap will be gone. That means a lot of water rising, not by inches but meters."
Total bullshit.

Anderson Cooper is doing a great piece on China this week. According to his reports they are building a coal fired power plant at the rate of 2 per week. We have not built one in quite a while and when we do it takes 5 to 10 years to complete because of our environmental hoops needed to jump through.
