Slow today

So why are there almost a thousand guests looking at the Cellar index page?

I don't know but I'm having trouble just pulling the cellar up, let alone make a post. meybee that's a good thing.

Is it possible that a program is combing the cellar?

Or is the cellar suddenly famous?!?

Lemme see what possible recent thread could be at the very top of the gooogley.

That's the funny thing. The guests are not reading particular threads. They are just looking at the main page of the Cellar. There's nothing much there other than the tagline and the cookies. Maybe they are reading the cookies and loading the entire main page to do so.

Holy..... "Recreational durg use legal-zation" is at the top of the googly as a cellar item. Uh-oh. uuuuh.....

Home schoolers + criminals...cellar takes 4th...

I think it may have a little to do with the durgs and legal-zation #1 hit on googley....dunno. Could be a combination of threads hitting on google in the top 5 or 6. We don't want to be the #1 hit for rec. durgs and legal-zation do we? (I can see how this could be bad in a couple different ways)

More research...those are just the initial results...

We're not being dugg or anything?

by the way, I wonder if that one sending forum feedback is expressing his concern about any other parts of UT's anatomy?

It's a double dipping since about midnight last night - first the chopper iotd was Stumbled On, and then the glass stairs iotd was Dugg.

Overnight I had the Diggers relocated to a different server, but I thought they'd be done by now as we have fallen off the front page. Still very busy though.

I've put the redirect back in... apparently the end of the work day is a good time to check digg, so 4:20 east coast time and the server is at full load again.

We're still on digg's page 4, and page 2 of "popular/last 24 hours". It's also other people blogging on what digg dug... if they like it they will link to it, and blog it, which is the best result for us.

Meanwhile, we can infer from glatt's screencap that he is worried enough about being caught surfing at work to use the "Sterile for Work" color scheme, but not worried enough to avoid searching Google for "addicting games."

Man, I couldn't get on at all a couple of times in the past couple of days (is that nonspecific enough for diagnostic purposes, UT?).

However, now that there's a huge audience of lurkers, I think I'm finally gonna post a picture of my wang. Virtual exhibitionism opportunist, here. ;-)
