Whatever happened to the doodad thread?

Did it just die out or did it get too big to handle?

This is really for Bruce to respond to
But a precis is: he was called on the amount of space it took up
He had to step out for a while for his own reasons, and took the thread with him

Sadly, the person who raised the objection (when no-one else did) is gone
and many are left mourning the doodads

Huh? I thought it was accidentally deleted when some of the pictures from it were deleted by Bruce.

It's not really a space problem. xoB had good reasons to do what he did and they are private reasons by necessity. Since then we have kinda said we are only removing a handful of posts for those who want/need them removed.

Well, the only thing to do is to go over to Bruce's house, photograph the entire collection, and create a PDF catalog.

We will of course include Buster and the rest of the Cellar, but I think Bruce dominated the category.

Bruce reminds me of the "Gather Ye Acorns" episode of Amazing Stories, where a 'fairy?' tells Mark Hamil's character to collect stuff he likes.

I wonder if Bruce knows any elves?

I'm sorry to being it up then. I thought it was a space/bandwidth issue. Nothing has been posted recently, so I thought the entire thread was wiped.

Is this picture of Frank Oz in the 70's?

@ elspode. I can't tell. I tried to look up the names in the picture url and the caption on the photo but nothing conclusive comes up.

Frank Oz
