Welcome to Bagpuss!

This is an edited version, to fit into the YouTube timeframe. But I would do my best to get hold of the series & post it if anyone was interested. I have the full version myself and watch my favourite episodes about twice a year.

It is the series of my childhood. But apart from the affection I naturally feel, it is a classic of children's entertainment for its gentle humour, kindness and green agenda before there even was one. As far as I know it has captivated every child who has watched it (this is a small control group!)

FYI Professor Yaffle was based on Bertrand Russell.
