Korea's Dirty Dozen

Ok the picture is not too riveting, if it is any consolation to those seeking something different the bones behind and to the left are real.
However the story behind the picture is so Hollywood come real, that of course TriStar Films are now in production.

Check it out, I wish I could find another source on the net to elaborate on the story.

Yea i've read a ton of stuff about this, really interesting. For a nation that has always claimed to play fair the south has a long history of underground action and reaction. Surpisngly some of it was never even recognised by TEAM SPIRIT. (recently finished paper on Nth/Sth relations)

Hi Jag,

Do you have any references for what happen on Shilmi Island in 1968?

What's that about the TEAM SPIRIT? paper you mention?

I am fascinated in reading about what happens to the human mind under extreme stress and what happened to the hit squad would seem to be a case of "enough is enough", it would be interesting to know more.

TEAM SPIRIT is the name of the Joint ROK/USA defence arangement in the korean peninsula. Sorry none off the top of the head (i just got into hols i dun wanan drag up all my work =), i merely covered it to give historical context to the conflict - i was doing currant threat analysis stuff.
