Deep ice cores down to the last interglacial say that 450,000 years ago there was still an ice cap on Greenland -- at an average global temp 9 degrees warmer than nowadays. This suggests some doom-by-flooding prophet isn't modeling ice sheet behavior so well.

Maybe the worst of the kerfuffle is over, and all we've got to plan for is growing more corn in Canada and Siberia.

And more blue agave in Oklahoma to kickstart a tequila industry.

This is in Politics because the events mentioned aren't exactly current except by geological time.
