My new website :)

OK. In the finest undergraduate tradition, rather than actually writing my dissertation, I have instead been frakking around with poetry and in a fit of work-avoidance, have decided to build a little website for my poems.

Here 'tis. It houses every poem I've written and posted on here over the last five years. ( still intend posting any new poems here first.)

http://sites.google.com/site/danispoetry/

This is inspired partly by Tiki and partly by a memory of Sunsparkz poetry thread. I'm quite excited. I've never had a website of my own before! Unless you count the wiki I made for a history project, which I don't lol.

I hadn't realised that lol. It doesnt give me that warning. I do remember clicking that option...I figured if I ended up swearing in a poem it might be considered adult content?

Maybe I should change that.

[eta] 'Hollow Girl' is a song in my head. So is 'Memory' . Most start off as songs. Unfortunately I long since forgot anything I knew about music so have no way of setting the tune down...unless one of these days I grab a cam and record myself singing them. Certainly, if any dwellars are looking to set some music down and want some lyrics to go with it, I'd be happy for them to use any of mine.

But, but, but, there's no place to leave scathing criticism and lewd remarks.

Asylum sounds like you could sell it as a famous rap song. I don't know why it just flows. Loved it anyway.

But there should be! Each page purports to allow comments...

...but please keep it relatively sfw given this site will be read by my family and colleagues :P

@ Merc: glad you liked it! That one's very special to me. I think that's when I realised I didnt have to be personally invested in something in order to feel it and write.

Haven't you heard? Dana got a time machine to give her an extra week, so she can screw around for another six days.

bruce...the very, very sad thing is, that if I had a time machine that's more than likely precisely what I'd do with it :P

It would be sad, except we both know what a wonderful job you do under pressure.
