Welcome GrandbabyCloud No. 7 to the earth! Born last night by emergency C-Section, 8 lbs. Mom and baby are doing fine. He's a pink and pretty boy, light skinned (notable because their family has kind of a mix of light and dark kids) and we are all very happy and tired. One down, one still to go.

His name is Orion Armando Michael B. . . .

Congratulations! What a handsome baby!! (yes, men, we know he looks like a wrinkled prune, but we all lie about that. He'll fill out some)

We have to have a discussion with the cloudkins about naming, though. He better be a tough little guy. He'll be getting his ass kicked all over the playground.

I haven't held him yet, but I've held my daughter, and told her what a wonderful mother and person she is. And she is! and I like the name Orion pretty well. We may call him Ori.

and this little guy has 4 older sisters. oh my, lol!

I knew a boy at school called Barnabus.
And another called Caspar.
They were both so effing cool. I mean - teflon coated baby.
The only person who would have been embarrassed about their names in the playground would have been the one teasing them. It would have been, "And...?"

I also knew a kid called Steven who was bullied all the way through grammar school

Don't worry bout your grandkid's name, only about his character.

This is mommy and daddy "before." Aren't they cute? Because she had an epidural (and therefore can't feel much of anything), we mostly sat around and waited, until the end.
