I will definitely be participating! Not for work of course, but will be wearing my most earthquake inducing dress for my human sexuality class that evening!

Sedighi claims that not dressing modestly causes earthquakes. If so, we should be able to test this claim scientifically. You all remember the homeopathy overdose?

Time for a Boobqauke.

On Monday, April 26th, I will wear the most cleavage-showing shirt I own. Yes, the one usually reserved for a night on the town. I encourage other female skeptics to join me and embrace the supposed supernatural power of their breasts. Or short shorts, if that's your preferred form of immodesty. With the power of our scandalous bodies combined, we should surely produce an earthquake. If not, I'm sure Sedighi can come up with a rational explanation for why the ground didn't rumble. And if we really get through to him, maybe it'll be one involving plate tectonics.

Considering that there are about 14,000 earthquakes a year of magnitude 4 or higher (source), the crazies will use this as evidence to support their position.

That's about 38 per day.

I was out and about today. I forgot this thing was today, but I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary in the way anyone was dressed. It was cool and drizzly, so if anything, everyone was bundled up.

I wore a vest top* to school yesterday.
The usual suspects stared at my boobies (6-7 year old boys - they stare at boobies however they're contained). I don't wear cleavage enhancing tops to school, but I admit I wear strappy tops, simply because the classroom is so damned hot!

Moreso because we now have a heat lamp over our four baby chicks.

*ETA - vest top is a wifebeater with spaghetti straps. At least I think so. It's what I wear in most of my photos, because the 'rents house is generally too damned hot too.
