Assuming this hasn't been done for the new year...
Pete and I went to Garnet Hill Lodge for our 20th wedding anniversary. We skied at Yellowstone for our honeymoon, so this appealed to us at this milestone. They have a lot of groomed trails, but we tended toward the back country stuff. Good skiing but it was a little thin on base in the back country since they hadn't much snow until recently. The groomed trails were in great shape.

Wow! Happy Anniversary. You both look great, and you, Griff, look especially lucky.
The mm is sitting on my lap and she asked me if the photo of you was me. Then she asked me if you were the husband of "that girl." When I told her yes she asked "Why did that girl travel so far in the snow to find a husband?" Indeed. I expect it would have been the other way around.

That was her college nickname derived from her maiden name, the most common in Sweden.

I explained it and she figured out the nick name thing pretty quickly, identifying her own and everyone else's.
She still couldn't figure out the snow angle and how that related to getting married, and why Pete's maiden name was Pete...
