prothesize. Not a word, maybe redneck usage. As in. That sob is over there prothesizeing about his coon hounds. The word is proselytizing proselytize.
A close spelling hit me as I went to feed the dogs, not coon hounds.

If remembering that you used to know a word at one point is the measure of being old, I'm there already. Been old for some time now.

PS I had a blue tick coon hound once and that thing was the sorriest dog I have ever encountered.
