Going to see some dogs today

Angel, the Mom, is a very small dog weighing about 22-25 lbs. She is only about 1 year old and had these adorable little pups. The pups are 5 months old and about the same size as Angel. There are 3 boys (Duke, Hercules, and Tommy) and 2 girls (Sheeba and Sweetie). The pups and mom were removed from a home by animal control because the home was not suited to raise dogs - especially pups. All of the pups and mom are very sweet and friendly They just arrived at our rescue on Saturday and are already settling in so nicely.
They are at a 14-acre farm setting right now. We are going to take a look. Although it says "Australian Shepherd/Boston Terrier Mix", that doesn't tell us anything about what the temperament could be. It hardly tells us anything about their genetic makeup. Could be A to Z. And the breeds could be reported wrong anyway.

Sure enough, these are not half Australian Shepherd Dog, this are half Australian Cattle Dog or blue heeler. And boy do they show it. They are very hyperactive, very powerful and ready to work at 6 months. Only the smallest pup would do well in our home; she was calm when separated from the others, rather submissive, and seemed ready to work with her human.

I don't know if she will be ours. We have to discuss it and we have to find out if there's any risk to Pearl from the mange they are (mostly) cured of. The mom and litter were truly rescued, out of a hoarding situation. The facility has been working with them to get them back to shape.
