TV Shows you fell off've then fell back onto again...

Yeah so.

Now and again I'll get into a show and watch it for a bit, then just fall off it for no great reason. Maybe I'm busy, or maybe it's just not hitting my mood the same, or maybe the show got crap after the first half series....whatever. Mostly, I don't go back. Unless I go back within a week or so, it just falls away behind me. There are shows I watched for like 5 seasons, then dropped off and have never seen the last two seasons. The longer it goes, the less likely I am to return.

But now and again, I get drawn back to a show.

This has happened recently with Burn Notice. I got really heavy into it and watched the first series across a couple of weeks. Even bought it on Itunes instead of streaming it.Then watched the first two eps of series 2 and then fell off.

That was like a year ago I think, maybe even two? I dunno.

A few days ago I saw an ad for it on tv. One of the channels is running a current or recent series. And I started thinking I should give it another go. So, off i went and found myself a source for series 2 and wham! Back in the Burn.

Fucking love that show!

So, what series have you got into, fallen off've then fallen back onto ?

I've had the exact opposite happen. The first several times I saw Friends, I thought it was terrible, so I stopped watching. But then after a year or two, everyone was talking about it, so I started watching it again and even enjoying it. But then one day I realized that I was right the first time, and that it really was terrible, and had been all along. So I stopped watching it for good, and was a little disgusted with myself that I had been drawn in.
