Exclamation Voodoo hurts!!

Quote:
A Vodou believer pours hot pepper-spiced homemade alcohol on her genital area, one of the key rituals during Gede, a Vodou holiday dedicated to Baron Samdi and the Gede family of spirits of the dead, while other believers, one clutching a miniature coffin, look on in the National Cemetery in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on November 1, 2003, which is All Saints Day and is also the first of two days devoted to the Gede, who are feted for most of the month of November. One of themost important Vodou holidays in the country, but especially in the capital, Vodouists go to cemeteries to pray with food, coffee and peppered alcohol, to light candles and to put fresh flowers on graves, and then dance all night at 'peristyles' or Vodou temples. (AP Photo/Daniel Morel)

As anyone here done stupid shit like put perfume or cologne on their genitals? Gotten a cut and put alcohol on it? Gotten anything remotely RESEMBLING alcohol on their private parts? All I keep thinking is PEPPERED ALCOHOL????? **eyes watering**

I did talk a friend into pissing on a shock fence once , same dude i talked into pissing on a spark plug of a lawn mower to try and turn it off ( " it will short it out " ,, " Oh , ok ,,, AHHHHHHHH !!!!) . Not the smartest dude !

Don't spill your aftershave either and that's all I'm telling.
I've got a friend that reasoned the vagina would be the same as a mouth. So when she starts to itch, no 7 day or 3 day but Listerine. Full strength unless she's been scratching then cut 50% with water. It works and her Doctor concurs.

It doesn't appear that the celebrant is getting direct contact with the sensitive area ... pouring libation is often a part of vodou ceremony, and in honoring the Gede, the sexualized aspect is appropriate. Randy fellows, the Gede.

(I'm actually attempting to get additional information regarding these ceremonies.)

Got the low-down.

The Gede LOVE this extremely hot peppered rum.

When they are in possession of a follower they will often drink this beverage and/or very occasionally rub it upon the genitals. If the possession is genuine, not just being faked by a reveler, there is no injury ... no blistering ... no pain.

(the voudon I sent the pic to indicated that based on the apparent scream of the dancer, it's unlikely that they are being truly ridden by the spirit.)
