Question Who's down?

Okay...that should grab some attention.

Who is going to be joining NBN (whose name I don't even know yet) and I this coming Saturday? I think Mitch is coming, but I haven't heard anyone else pipe up.

NBN, I know you want to see the ManFOT Tavern, but that's a bit off the path...about 2 blocks or so north of the Headhouse in a residential area. It's not really a good spot for folks to meet cause it's at a nondescript street corner. And if it's chilly then like it is tonight, the only walking I wanna do is in between bars on South St.

So, whomever is attending this soiree, meet us at the south end of Headhouse Square--2nd and Lombard, at the end of the Shambles (between CVS and XandO). 8pm. Saturday October 6. Need directions there? E-mail me. I'm curious to see who else is coming though, so give a shout here if you are.

Vital Stats on Nothing But Net.

Looking forward to meeting you sycamore, and anyone else who wants to join in... the more the merrier, as they say.

About me:

Name: There are those who call me... Tim

Sex: Male

Age: 43

Hometown: Resident and native of Houston, TX, but I went to the University of Texas at Austin from 1976-1980 and lived in the Los Angeles area from 1986-1990.

Appearance: I have been told on good authority that I sort of resemble Jack Nicholson

Politics: Libertarian, again think Jack Nicholson

Claim to fame: I was a three day champion on 'Wheel of Fortune' in 1985. No shit, really!

Hobbies: Fun, fun, fun until my daddy takes the T-Bird away (that was just kidding). Master imbiber, but remember I have an 8:45 am flight out out of PHL on Sunday morning, so if things get interesting I just may have to stay out all night...

sycamore, you're a Terence Trent D'Arby fan

Now I get it!

"Kissing like a bandit stealing time, underneath the SYCAMORE tree"

How will I recognize you?

Actually, that was the story I used to use as to how the Sycamore name came about. Truth be told, it was a name I pulled out of my ass in 1993 after the demise of two previous bands. It just sounded cool. After using a couple of different names online, I settled permanently on Sycamore about 4 years ago.

This should help you recognize me, except I will not be wearing sunglasses and flipping people off.

Sorry Mitch...

I was running late Saturday night. 95 south was a bitch. NBN had made friends with the manager at Friday's and was over there. When I got down there, I looked around, didn't see anyone, and headed into Friday's. Truth be told, I knew it was after 8, but didn't have a watch on me. I probably should have waited around for a bit. Again, my apologies Mitch.
