What's a thread about Harry Potter doing in quality images, you may wonder?

Friends of mine went to see the movie on Friday night, opening day.

I was busy slaving over hot psychotics and didn't get to attend.

My friend's son is a HUGE Harry Potter fan. He's one of those kids that was really having a hard time with reading, and the Potter books were the carrot that allowed his parents not to have to resort to the stick with respect to his education.

He dressed up to go see the movie.

He's a real ladykiller. Couple years from now when the girls his age get beyond the boys are icky stage, he's going to be VERY popular.

Great job, but I have to say Hedwig looks like he got her from the Monty Python Pet Store!

He has a real Macaw, but the movie theater won't let him in. He has a tendency to be scared of the dark, squawks a lot, and mooches gummy bears from EVERYBODY.

Does he wear glasses or are they props too?

The glasses are props. However both of his parents are nearsighted, so he's likely to end up with real ones very soon.
