Berger saga continued

I thought this was an interesting article. One of the few that isn't blatantly biased.

The Boldness of the President

As for the saga continues...What saga?? There hasn't been a god-damn word all day on the "mainstream" media. It's like it never happened. Imagine if Condy Rice would have been caught with documents in her panties??? Outrageous liberal uproar and more "bush" jokes by Whoopie, no doubt.

Thanks...don't have time to explore the whole cellar. When I was in Intell I had a TSCrypto clearance and I would have went to Leavenworth for at least 10 years for even thinking about removing and/or copying any document. This guy ought to be charged with treason, but the Republicans seem to have lost their gonads for some reason. Maybe Berger has them in his socks.

Wow. Thanks Sandy. Good job. No wonder you wanted those documents removed.

And to think Kerry was about to hire him for another four years of similarly pitiful advice.

i agree. i only hold a TS today, which is like a rectum... everybody has one. even the stuff that is only listed as TS if pilfered will land you in the deep end of the septic tank.
the major media is only covering this story as an aside. then you have dan rather: "today's story, Sandy Berger inadverntantly removed classified documents from the archives, possibly in his suit coat. the timing for the release of this information is highly suspicious and looks like more gamesmanship from the neo-cons... *slurp, slurp, slurp at the DNC teat*"

he was favored as SecState if Kerry wins. Kerry says he was unaware of the investigation, but B. Clinton has known for quite some time. gives you a warm feeling about Kerry's choices, huh?

I'd like Kerry to lay out a complete list of potential felons er... officials so we know what we're in for.

At this level everyone engages in this stuff and noone really want anyone to look too deeply, god knows who they'll shine the spotlight on next. Clearly someone thought he had stuck his neck out far enough to be cut off without collateral but anything that might trigger some real soul-searching is best avoided.
