Perfect day
Yesterday was one for the memory books. They don't come often so you have to appreciate them when they do.
To start off it was perfect weather in Chicagoland. Temps in the 70s and low humidity. I had planned to take the day off anyway. The perfect weather was dumb luck. First thing in the morning, I played tennis with my oldest daughter who has taken a recent interest in the game. Went home and did some chores around the house, but it was easy duty because it was perfect weather. In the afternoon we went to see Jim Dale. Jim Dale reads the audio books for the Harry Potter series. He performed sections from most of the books illustrating the various voices. He also told stories about how he came up with some of the voices. It's a lot of fun to watch his face when he switches from voice to voice. After that we spent some time at a local Humane Society. The kids are lobbying for a second dog. Haven't made the plunge, but it's always fun to see the puppies. After that we went home and made a quick meal and watched a movie. And in the background always that perfect weather.
