SPECULATIONS

1) is wolf really going camping in this heat/humidity voluntarily? Or is Sycamore, who holds arcane knowledge of wolf, forcing her to go as some sort of punishment or threat?

2) is Catwoman a carnie in the summer? We never hear from her in the summer. Perhaps it's job-related.

3) isn't it strange that right after the London bombings Jaguar had to suddenly and mysteriously leave? I've long wondered whether he is a spy...

4) What University did UT go to? He says it was in the Northeast and was Liberal and prestigious...there are quite a few institutions that fit that bill. Why doesn't he name it? Was it some sort of agreement between UT and the university, made upon his graduation?

5) why does xoxoxobruce lie about his typing ability? He says he's "not very good" at typing but I've seen his posts--they are usually typo-free! Is it because he doesn't want us to get to know the "real" him?

Why am I the only person thinking these things?

I doubt it.

If that were the case, I think something more dire than "camping" would be in progress. (I can't imagine what, but camping sounds to innocuous for that scenario.)

Yeah, but it's REALLY REALLY HOT OUT. At least here in Ohio.

6) did Garnet ever marry that cop she was dating? Is he now a vegetarian?

7) Where the hell is DanaC? *smiles* I remember her fondly...

garnet...married...pig...bacon... yes, i'm aware that is juvenile. so?

danac is most likely very busy trying to keep her asylum seekers out of the public eye after the bombings.

catwoman disappears when she can't think of any more condescending answers to her own pompous questions.

UT went to Whatsamatta U. everybody knows that.

Bruce doesn't actually type. he is the incarnation of James Doohan and he merely speaks and his computer obeys.

Wolf is really on an international mission with Slang. no further details are available.

Jaguar is, in fact, a spy. a corporate spy. for Kmart. he is travelling trying to find the secret to Walmart's success.

They were all brilliant, lookout, but the above is probably actually true!

I'm in a very snarky mood. I can't seem to help myself.

Not prestigious and liberal. "Competitive", i.e. they accepted about half of applicants or something; and "liberal arts", i.e., broad curriculum requiring one to conjugate difficult French verbs and read existentialist novels as well as to write good C code.

wait? UT seriously won't disclose where he went to school? UT - are you one of those guys that has spent years putting impressive degrees on your resume... but you never actually went? that would be cool.

No I want to drag it out because I enjoy talking about myself. It's my favorite topic.

I want to throw a party and only invite really deep people like Mystic R and Velvet Fish and Urbane G and watch them all carry on lengthy self involved conversations about nothing. It would be just like being back in college again.
Either that or go camping with Wolf and watch her implode.

My Grandfather went to Yale. Skull & Bones, too.

But me, I was a terrible student, never really got the hang of it until probably... now. Now I think I would take classes entirely differently than I did when I was a kid. Now I'd read more than the prof and try to beat them to their own lectures.

Which brings me to the next thread idea...

skull & bones, huh? so is that how you get to hang out at the Crawford ranch so often?

Speculation #8 - UT through his Skull & Bones connection has old family ties to the Bush dynasty. While he has publicly shown distaste for W - UT is really the mastermind behind the entire Bush operation. Rove is just the bullet catcher.

I also wrote the Beastie Boys' early material, ensuring a fresh youthful white edge to hip-hop and thus reducing racial tension. (That Vanilla Ice project? It was out of Harvard! And Cypress Hill, of course, was out of Brown... stupid hippies.)

Thread title is "Speculations", not "Wild Fantasies" or "Wishful Thinking". Get on track, l123.
