Opinion on E-Health Keyfob

Medic-Alert is offering the E-Health key fob, which appears to be a USB drive and software designed to store medical history and even blood work and images. I think it's a good idea, if hospitals and EMT's will use it.

Does anyone here know if this is being used in emergency rooms?

Haven't heard anything about it.

It's training wheels for your chip implant rich.

Think carefully about this.

Since I took and almost took jobs a while back requiring a background check, my fingerprints are already in the system. I already have Medic Alert, so my basic information is in that system. This would be more complete information, but not financial, and localized to an encrypted device.

Anyone stealing that device would know my cholesterol and have a picture of some old fractures. Hardly of use for identity theft unless someone intends to so well impersonate me that they are willing to break the proper bones to do so.

Unlike a chip, it cannot be passively scanned.

Anyway, like I said when I used my real name on the Cellar, I'm the test case. If I disappear, you'll all know to wipe your hard drives and scatter. (except for Radar who's given too much information about himself and will probably be my cellmate in the secret prison under the Washington Monument guarded by black helicopters).

Shows how much you know.

It's under the Reflecting Pool.

Oops.
