Mr. Mathers is getting a ton of praise for this flick. From the interviews I've read and seen, he seems to have matured a bit.

Ya know, he could very well be on the same path as Mark Wahlberg. He went from New Kids kickout to somewhat-thuggish rapper to critically acclaimed movie star. And you can see the change through his interviews over the years.

Incidentally, my cousins grew up with the former New Kids in the Dorchester section of Boston. The first time they told me, I nearly fell out.
