No, that's a separate contempt charge. What I was confused by was the order that preceded that, "settle or go to prison". Shouldn't he have had the option to have an actual trial?

He's right, though. The judge is a "judge gone wild." Judges normally encourage parties to settle, but I've never heard one say "settle or go to jail."

AFTER pre-pubescent boy yelled at the girls during negotiations. Judge basically said 'that's enough panty-waist.'
