I'll see your bet and raise you the following:

• Blast the AC with all external doors open, plus run the gas fireplaces to keep from freezing to death.
• Run full loads in the dishwasher, washer machine, and dryer.
• Swap out all Energy Star compact fluorescent light bulbs with high wattage incandescent bulbs just for this one hour...and let 'em burn baby!
• Run splinklers (water is a resource too!). Also run all of the hot water in faucets to force hot water heaters to run full steam.
• Let all three cars idle in the driveway (not too wise to do this in the garage) to waste gas and add back pollutants to the environment that are saved by everyone else.
• Burn garbage in 55 gallon drum.
• Crank up home theater system to Tom Petty's Southern Accents album and turn on speakers for all rooms, plus back porch.
• Go to office 1 hour before and turn on all lights on all 10 floors.

Of course I'm gonna regret the spike to my electric & gas bill...
