OK, let me rephrase my question. Is Wild Turkey sweetened bourbon the way Southern Comfort is sweetened whiskey?

Wild Turkey American Honey is a 71 proof Bourbon-based liqueur.

Yes, the naysayers are probably unaware that Wild turkey bottles several proofs (80, 90, 101, 108) and blends like American Honey.

It's not sweet like so co. It just has a richness of flavour and the aroma of honey is quite strong.

I'm not a so co fan.

But it's still sweeter than straight Wild Turkey bourbon. That's why it's a liqueur, and that's what he was referring to, I think.

Yes well that's probably right. I just don't want him to think it's really that sweet cause it's not. It just tastes smoother. A lot like drambui I thought.

But it doesn't curl your toes and shoot thunderbolts from your ears, like old school, Wild Turkey 101.

It was confusing. I thought Ali had dubbed (regular old)Wild Turkey "American Honey." Then when the question was brought forth "is Wild Turkey like Southern Comfort" I was like...NO WAI!

Turns out, I missed the Ali part where she said it was a liqueur, or I might have googled it to see there is indeed a reasonable facsimile. Then I might have said WAI. But with the question being Wild Turkey vs SoCo...

Oh well, we could all use a little google, I suppose.
