How do you define wilderness? When it takes 9 days to drive specially prepared vehicles 8.5 miles and the alternative is helicopter or shanks mare, I'd call that wilderness. I've seen a lot of official US Government grade A prime wilderness in Alaska, that had roads through it you could drive an ordinary pick-up on, which is more than this has.
