For JBKlyde

I've been catching up on some progs I missed first time around, and one in particular I thought Klyde might enjoy.

Andy Hamilton is a British comic writer and performer, who has for about a decade and a half played the role of Satan in a long running radio 4 sitcom, set in Hell (Old Harry's Game).

Recently he did a little documentary looking at the subject of Satan, and asking who is he? Where does the idea come from? How has our vision of him altered across the ages etc.

It's really interesting. Funny in places, but not disrespectful. He interviews a lot of scholars and religious thinkers, and I think provides a really entertaining and informative look at the subject.

Anyways, here's part 1: the rest of it should be on the playlist

ok so what I got out of that is that basically the devil is a JOKE. As long as long as we keep him in perspective, and keep a safe distance he has no power over us.

This show made me want to get real with my relationship with God. Not that I wasn't already being called to do that but it put into perspective a "worldly" aspect of show biz that I per-fer to stay away from.
