Red Dwarf

Not sure if I made a RD thread back when they did the reunion series a few years ago. There's a new series coming up - they've just started filming.

I was very into Red Dwarf when it first aired, back in the 80s. I was less into the three part special miniseries they did to test the waters for bringing it back. It was ok, but it lacked a certain something. They followed that up with one proper series (I think it had 6 episodes iirc) and I really liked that. I got well and truly back into RD and ended up bingewatching all ten series in one go.

So - here's a Red Dwarf thread for anybody who's interested.

And for anyone who has never seen Red Dwarf - seriously, go watch the early series - it's fun.

Lister: [drinking tea] Like what?
Holly: Cow's milk, ran out of that yonks ago. Fresh and dehydrated.
Lister: What kind of milk are we using now?
Holly: Emergency backup supply. We're on the dog's milk.
Lister: Dog's milk!
Holly: Nothing wrong with dog's milk. Full of goodness, full of vitamins, full of marrowbone jelly. Lasts longer than any other milk, dog's milk.
Lister: Why?
Holly: No bugger'll drink it.

Cat: Mm?
Lister: Did you ever see the Flintstones?

Lister: Maybe we've been alone in deep space for too long but every time I see that show, her body drives me crazy. Is it just me?
Cat: I think in all probability, Wilma Flintstone is the most desirable woman who ever lived.
Lister: That's good, I thought I was goin' strange.
Cat: She's incredible!
Lister: What do you think of Betty?
Cat: Betty Rubble? Well, I would go with Betty...but I'd be thinkin' of Wilma.
Lister: This is stupid. Why are we talking about going to bed with Wilma Flintstone?
Cat: You're right. We're nuts. This is an insane conversation.
Lister: She'll never leave Fred and we know it.

Oh I can't stop reading quotes from it. Talkie Toaster was a huge nod to Hitchhiker's...
